Patches (AKA embroidered emblems) are highly requested and reordered by the units we supply. Our source for patches provides superb quality in command logo patches, both in color and subdued green or brown, flight suit/flight jacket patches, name tag patches, special award patches, (such as Battle E awards), safety patches, flight crew patches, detachment patches, cruise/deployment patches as well as many others. They feature special merrowed borders which will not fray when washed. We can do "hand cut" or "heat sealed" borders which are needed for certain patches that may have acute angles in the border design. Velcro backing (both sides or "hook" side only) is available.
Patch size is determined by adding the extreme width (including banners) to the extreme height and dividing by two. This is the size of your patch for pricing purposes. Most patches are 4" in size. If there is highly complex art it is occasionally necessary to use a 4 1/2" size or larger. (This is common on cruise or deployment patches.) Patches are embroidered on a twill background but may be put on felt. You may have your patch 100% embroidered or use the twill background for one of the colors. If there is sky or water in your design, you could choose one of the blue twills and save on the patch cost by bringing down the percentage of embroidery to perhaps 85 or 90%. We use colorfast thread and have metallic and/or neon threads as well. We take pride in our patches and look forward to helping you create a patch that will please everyone!
